Lambs: our second week
During their second week, the lambs become a very tight little group of four, what one does, they all do! This leaves their mums to enjoy the fresh grass (hopefully) and a bit of peace. Of course, the lambs are still drinking milk from mum as although they do lots of 'nibbling', they aren't yet eating grass themselves. This won't happen for another couple of weeks by which time their stomachs will be developed enough to digest it. Exploring, playing and bouncing are their main activities when awake, although they never wander too far away from the ewes (and the ewes wouldn't want them too either).
