Relaxed Farming - our farm in your classroom

In spring 2015 Cheddar gave birth to two kids: Flip (a girl) and Flop (a boy). This was a perfect birth: from the initial contractions to both kids being born was around fifteen minutes and within another fifteen, both kids were up and suckling. The video begins with the actual birth of the first kid, quickly followed by the second. Cheddar is shown licking them clean and then you can watch as they make their first wobbly steps (there is a lot of falling over), eventually finding mum's teats for their first drink of warm milk. It's hard work being born so we end with both kids curled up together fast asleep... Definitely an 'aaaahh' ending. We advise watching the video in full before showing it to your class/children.
