Name: Mrs Brown Breed: Badger Face (Torwen) DoB: March 2010
Relaxed Farming
Why I am part of the Relaxed Smallholding? When they realised that goats DON'T graze grass half as well as sheep do, the decision was made to buy a couple of ewes as 'lawn mowers' and then 'maybe' breed a few lambs the following year. Mrs White and I were actually destined for the meat market (gulp...) so Relaxed saved us!!!! By the way Torwen means 'white belly' which is what I have along with the 'badger face' markings.

Things I love: Being a mum; rushing up for a cuddle; making a lot of noise (especially at feeding time) and eating...

Things I hate: Being ignored; being chased by the goats (which doesn't happen often thank goodness...

I am very good at: ...Being good! I am basically VERY well behaved, I don't push and barge my way through things and I even stand still for my injections (most of the time)...

I am very bad at: I think sometimes my bleating at mealtimes annoys my owners... but I only do it until they give me some food and then I totally shut up!!

My Family: I don't remember my parents now but I have had loads of lambs here on the Relaxed smallholding, they don't get names (as they are bred for meat...) although I sometimes call them a thing or two when they head butt my belly really hard so they can get to my udder for milk... it jolly well hurts...
Name: Mrs White Breed: Badger Face (Torddu) DoB: March 2010
Relaxed Farming
Why I am part of the Relaxed Smallholding? Same reason as Mrs Brown... we don't apparently have the most 'perfect' markings for Badger Faced sheep hence our previous owner's decision not to keep us for breeding... our Relaxed owners don't mind at all (and it's not as though 'they' have perfect markings either...). I am a Torddu which means 'brown belly' - we are more common than the Torwen and have the classic 'badger face'!!

Things I love: Eating grass; always being first out of the gate; I 'quite' like a head scratch

Things I hate: Not sure if there is anything I hate although if we are left out when all the other animals get to go inside the barn I am not that impressed!!

I am very good at: Leading the flock (!!!), I tend to be the one who knows what is going on and so I lead the way, well someone's got to take charge...

I am very bad at: Jumping up for my food, they tell me I am as bad as a dog which I find highly insulting... I am 'way' better at it than any dog!!!!

My Family: As with Mrs B, I have no memory of my parents... I enjoy having my lambs each year, one this year was born without an opening for his poo to come out. I actually got cross he was crying so much that first night, but little did we know. When he came back from the vets, I let him have a really big drink of milk...
