Relaxed FarmingOur offspring... (as told by Mrs Brown). People really do love lambs don't they? Badger Face sheep lamb really easily and we are lovely mums (well apart from the fact we let our 'children' end up on your dinner plate!!!).

  • Growing up: a bit like with goat kids, we all have a few quiet days while we recover from giving birth and our lambs do a lot of sleeping, resting and drinking our milk. After a few days they discover they have springs in their feet and the bouncing begins!!

A great game is to spring up onto our backs (good thing we have thick coats to cushion their feet...).

After about six weeks, the lambs start to nibble at the grass with us and so take a little less milk. For the next few months we all happily munch away together until it is time for us to go and spend a few weeks with the ram and the lambs go off together to their own paddock and so we say goodbye!!!!

Lucky that Mrs White has a strong back...
