Day Five/Six: 14th/15th February: The ducklings have spent the last two days thoroughly exploring the whole poultry area, meeting the other birds, eating and drinking, learning how to get back into their aviary, eating and drinking some more(!!) and of course sleeping. Some now weigh over 100g which means they have DOUBLED their hatching weight in just six days!!! Incredible!! They still have wonderfully fluffy feathers but wings and tails are now starting to look just a little bit longer... |
