Relaxed FarmingWhy keep sheep... (as answered by Mrs White). Sheep and smallholdings go together like... chips and tomato ketchup, kids and their mobile phones, lamb and mint sauce (whoops, should I have said that?). And why? Smallholdings have grass and we LOVE grass.

  • We don't need much additional feeding: Read more

  • We are easy to handle: Badger Faced sheep are not that big compared to other breeds and whilst it is NOT our favourite position, it is easy to put us on our backs so our feet and bellies can be checked and for when we need shearing.

Our lambs get to about 35kg in weight and they can be lifted up completely (useful for when they have been little *~?# and skipped through the fencing and need to be lifted back over...).

Although it is embarrassing to admit this we will do ANYTHING for food so one rattle of a feed bucket and we will come running (even if it means we are just about to get an injection - ouch!!)

  • We also make great pets: Read more
