  • Our poo is lovely, no, really: we poo and wee a lot and when it is mixed with old straw and left for a while it then becomes great compost for growing your plants and vegetables.

Our poo is drier than cow poo and far less smelly so it is nicer to work with (if working with poo can be called 'nice!!'). It is also high in an element called 'nitrogen' which is essential for plant growth. Gardeners and farmers can spend a lot of time and money getting nitrogen onto their land: and all they need to do is let us do it for them!!

In some parts of the world, people dry our poo and then burn it on their fires like logs.
