Relaxed FarmingHow to look after us... (as answered by Sage). We really don't take a huge amount of looking after but as with most animals the more time and attention we get, the happier we are

  • Give us room for a bit of a run: and a few bits to climb on. As mentioned by Thyme, a lot of people keep pygmy goats in their back garden. This is fine as long as we have some space for running around a bit, a few things to climb on (tree trunks, old pallets, plastic boxes etc) and jump off and a place to escape to, so we can get out of the rain.

Yes, we hate the rain just like the dairy goats and must have a shed or similar to go into to keep dry (more on the shed in a bit).

You 'might' also want to think about the fencing, a metre high should stop us jumping 'over' but make sure we cannot squeeze 'underneath' - we are quite good at that!!!
