Relaxed FarmingHow to look after us... (as answered by Sage). We really don't take a huge amount of looking after but as with most animals the more time and attention we get, the happier we are

  • Give us room for a bit of a run: Read more

  • We are generally very fit and healthy: but occasionally we might get ill so most people give us a yearly vaccination (a bit like your measles and mumps jabs) and check us for worms or nasty creepy crawlies. ..

    In our first year here we had to spend a lot of time inside as it rained ALL winter (well nearly) and most of got coughs and sniffles (imagine being in your classroom all day and night for a week with all those lovely germs).

    Onion also got a nasty abscess one summer and had to have it drained (all the pus squeezed out) - yuk!!!!!
