Relaxed FarmingWhy keep Pygmy goats... (as answered by Thyme). Okay, we are NOT a traditional farming/smallholding animal BUT we can actually help to promote the rest of the smallholding because we are so friendly, so cute, so well behaved (well, most of us...). Our owners have us at the top of their paddock so we are the first animals visitors see - the small and cute factor in pygmies is really really high!!

  • We make fabulous pets: Read more

  • We will clear your paddock/garden: Read more

  • We don't cost that much to keep: Read more

  • We don't need much space: whilst we love a good gallop, we don't RUN for miles (more like a few metres) so we don't actually need a huge amount of space.

It is absolutely fine to keep a couple of us in your back garden as long as you provide lots for us to do (see 'How to look after us').

We don't need high fencing - we are great at leaping OFF things but not OVER them FROM a standing start (or even a good run up), just don't put anything we can climb onto close up to your fence...

  • We might even make you a bit of money: Read more

Definitely room for a good run here...
