Relaxed FarmingWhy keep Pygmy goats... (as answered by Thyme). Okay, we are NOT a traditional farming/smallholding animal BUT we can actually help to promote the rest of the smallholding because we are so friendly, so cute, so well behaved (well, most of us...). Our owners have us at the top of their paddock so we are the first animals visitors see - the small and cute factor in pygmies is really really high!!

  • We make fabulous pets: Read more

  • We will clear your paddock/garden: Read more

  • We don't cost that much to keep: Read more

  • We don't need much space: Read more

  • We might even make you a bit of money: pygmy goat kids can be sold for over £200 and so it is possible to make a bit of money from us, especially if we have twins every year (like I do).

Some people take their pygmy goats to shows and hope they win prizes and that makes us more valuable still!!
People are happy to buy us
when we look this good!
