Day Four: 18th March: Waffle's kittens are huge, one has a belly fit to burst. As there are only four of them to drink from mum, they are obviously getting a lot of milk. These babies are definitely starting to really fill their skin. Strangley today, one was found way out of the nest BUT in its place was one of Crumpet's. We don't know how that happened as usually rabbits don't pick up their young if they wander off. Anyway, we put the right kittens back with the right mums. Waffle is a good mum, not overly protective but she always leaves the kittens in the nest really well covered with her fur and straw.
