Day Seven: 21st March: Take a look at those eyes: you can now see the darkness of the eye itself through the slit. The kitten will be more and more sensitive to light, in the same way that even with your eyes closed, you can still tell if you are in a bright room or if it is dark. The natural instinct is still to head for the nest however, as they cannot yet actually see. Notice the little 'hop the brown kitten makes as s/he crawls back to the warmth of his brothers and sisters. These kittens really are now starting to look and behave more like rabbits!!
