Day Seven: 21st March: The kittens' eyes really are very close to opening now and you can see the darkness of the actual eye itself through the slit. Whilst the kittens cannot properly see yet, they will be sensitive to light and the natural instinct is to stay in the nest where it is dark and warm. You can see how well Waffle keeps her kittens covered, you would not really know there was anything living in there (aside from a bit of straw moving.. can you spot it?)
