Day Nine: 23rd March: As eyes begin to open, the kittens become less and less sensitive to the light although they still cannot properly see yet. Look at the brown kitten having a drink of milk from Crumpet and then watch what happens when she wanders off... it is easy to see how kittens may die away from the nest. At nine days old though, with good hearing and strong legs, they are now more likely to find their own way back. Fingers crossed!
